To earn another spot on the annual Inc. 5,000 list, we achieved revenue growth of 121 percent over the past three years, an increase from 119 percent in 2012. ComplianceSigns ranks as the ninth fastest-growing manufacturer in Illinois, and 108th in the entire U.S. We appear to be the only safety sign manufacturer on the list.

We earned a spot on the 2012 Inc. 5,000 list by achieving revenue growth of 119 percent over the past three years, ranking as the sixth fastest-growing manufacturer in Illinois, and 60th in the entire U.S. ComplianceSigns was the number 49 private manufacturing company in the country on the 2011 list.

For the second year in a row, ComplianceSigns ranked in the top 5000 private growth companies in the United States. Our rank this year is 1,768 overall, and #49 in manufacturing. Ratings are calculated by dividing current year revenue by revenue from three years prior, comparing percentage growth in the three year window. Our growth was 150%.

With three year sales growth of 350 percent, ComplianceSigns.com ranked number 12 among manufacturing companies and number 859 overall on the 2010 Inc. 5000 list, which ranks companies according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. ComplianceSigns.com, founded in 2004, is a leading manufacturer of workplace safety and compliance signs and labels.

Despite the fact that qualification for this year’s list took place during the latest recession, total revenue and employment numbers for listed firms increased from previous years.

Methodology

The 2014 list measures revenue growth from 2010 through 2013. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2010. The minimum revenue required for 2010 is $100,000; the minimum for 2013 is $2 million. Revenue figures given in the company profiles are for the 2013 calendar year.
